Mary Jo began writing how-to books in 1993 when her designs were discovered in a boutique in Carmel, California by Jo Packham, who at the time was the owner of Chapelle, LTD., a book packager for Sterling Publishing. Over the next 14 years, Mary Jo was given the opportunity to explore in depth many different creative subjects and developed wonderful projects for over 20 books. Many of those books are now collectibles as they are no longer in print, but can be found through the internet from used book sources.
